About Me
My Comedy Journey
Dennis Vee is a stand-up comedian, speaker, writer, and retired U.S. Army veteran with experience as both an Army Ranger and Special Forces soldier. He brings that combination of military experience, professional life, and comedy to audiences looking for something more than another forgettable presentation.
His comedy is energetic, observational, and crowd-driven, covering everything from aging and relationships to military life, work, and the absurdity of being human.
As a speaker, Dennis focuses on using humor as a coping mechanism in both life and business. His presentations explore how humor can help people manage stress, build resilience, improve communication, navigate difficult situations, and create stronger connections at work and in everyday life.
Why Hire Dennis Vee?
Because he understands pressure from experience, not theory. As a Ranger and Special Forces soldier, Dennis learned the value of composure, teamwork, adaptability, and finding a way forward when circumstances aren’t exactly cooperating. As a comedian, he learned how to turn those experiences into stories that make people laugh and think. He doesn’t just talk about resilience. He knows what it looks like.Whether you’re booking comedy, a keynote, a workshop, or a customized speaking engagement, Dennis delivers an experience that is entertaining, authentic, and memorable.

The Mission
Dennis doesn’t use humor to make serious problems disappear. He uses it to make those problems easier to face.
Laugh It Off! is dedicated to Moving Veterans From Coping to Hoping. Founded by military veteran and comedian Dennis Vee, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit harness the power of shared experiences and comedy to support veterans, active-duty service members, military dependents, and their families.
When a person laughs, their heart opens—and an open heart creates space for healing, hope, and connection. Through stress-free comedy shows at VFW posts, stand-up comedy workshops, and vital networking events, Laugh It Off! provides a safe space for military families to share their stories, access essential community resources, and build lasting resilience together.
